I am excited by the idea of a journal for naturopathic medicine. I believe a journal specifically for the naturopathic profession will provide great benefit. It will be a place for students of naturopathic medicine, naturopathic doctors, health care professionals and health-conscious individuals alike to gain access to the latest research. Currently there is a plethora of information out there, but it can be difficult to decipher which sources are reliable from those that have no grounded evidence. This journal represents a source of information based on peer-reviewed research. Therefore people can read an article from it and count on it as being solid, reliable and thoroughly analyzed. This journal will play an integral role in bridging the gap between research and practice.
For researchers of naturopathic medicine, this journal will be a reputable place to publish their findings. Supporting researchers and publishing naturopathic research will allow this field to grow and flourish. This journal will have a tremendous impact on the growth and development of naturopathic medicine.
With hard-work, devotion and perseverance of all the people involved in initiating this project, I foresee that this journal will have an on-going, influential impact on the field of naturopathic medicine.
